Replacing 20 year old Kitchen cabinets was cost prohibitive for us. We decided to just replace the cabinet doors and drawer fronts using existing hardware. After extensive research locally and on the internet, decided to use kitchenreface. That was the best decision we ever made. We went with the Berkshire, which had a solid wood frame pre-painted. We also ordered matching paint for the cabinet frame facing. From the start of order to delivery kitchenreface kept us informed and the status was available on their website.
Paint was delivered first while the doors were in production. This gave us a chance to time the painting prior to the doors arriving. Doors were delivered on time and were very well packaged. Installing the doors was pretty straight forward, as we used the existing hinges and door pulls/handles. All doors/drawer fronts were the exact measurements we provided. The total cost was $1650 and it took a weekend to finish the project. Most of the time was spent preparing the facing for paint and installing the drawer fronts . The paint is high quality, matches perfectly and the finish is superb. Overall we are very pleased with the new cabinet doors, and as a semi-skilled DIY saved probably about $8-$10K over new cabinets. I would highly recommend Kitchenreface.com for the DIY as they make a quality product and are customer oriented. It does take time and some skill, but the end result is worth it. Thank you for our beautiful cabinets.
